Solenoid Activated Link Elsie Manufacturing Company is pleased to announce the new Solenoid Activated Link. This re-settable link allows scheduled testing of link activated devices without destroying the link. It can be activated electrically, thermally or manually. The solenoid can be controlled by smoke detectors for immediate release or remotely from a control center. Manual operation is achieved by depressing the plunger holding the fusible link. Fail-safe operation in a fire with eutectic coated fusible link. Power failure fail-safe operation requires an auxiliary battery backup system. Available temperatures are 165, 212, 286 and 370 degrees Fahrenheit. Please contact us if you have special requirements for this device.
